Comments:

Considered the most unique and rare Pinus hybrid.  Pinus ayacahuite is Mexican White Pine, Zone 7, and contributes foliage color and texture to this hybrid.  Pinus strobus contributes form and hardiness.  Cones are long and highlighted with resin.  Very useful for home gardens, commercial and urban sites.  Selected in the 1960's from seedlings at Yale Forest Research Center.
