Mounding, dome habit.  This is a must have plant for the entry way, or in a patio container.  The dark green foliage is perfect foil for holicay decorations, summer color, or just stand alone.  The early spring red cones are extremely striking being abundant, small, and present at the tip of every branch.  This is a low maintenance and hardy conifer.  Jan Zu Jeddeloh from Germany was first to work with the miniature form of Picea abies 'Acrocona'.  He discovered it as a witches broom on 'Acrocona'.  He began by naming it 'Acrocona Nana', and then later changed it to 'Pusch'.
